Predation On Plasticine Model Caterpillars: Engaging High School Students Using Field-Based Experiential Learning & The Scientific Process

Description

In this experiment for high schoolers, students develop hypotheses for what factors contribute to caterpillar predation and then test those hypotheses through the use of plasticine (modeling clay) worms. Students exercise skills necessary in investigative science and experimentation and practice collecting data.
