Odonata Curriculum Guide

This 74 page book is available as both a free e-book or a printed book ($). It is a comprehensive review of all things Odonata, emphasizing observation, classification, basic ecology, and more. Included are 17 different activities that range from arts and crafts to writing and mathematics. The illustrations and diagrams to label are very clear and informative, and it’s available in three languages! It even has paper dragonfly models for students to practice holding dragonflies safely for both insect and kid.

3-Dimensional design is apparent in students looking for patterns, constructing models, observing closely, and looking for stability and change among populations. Mathematics is integrated by constructing frequency charts and calculating Diversity Indexes.
